Squamish Constellation Festival is fast approaching, and we are beyond excited to bring this celebration of music, art and community back to our hometown, July 22-24, 2022!
We’re reaching out again to help the people of the neighbourhood nearest the venue make the most of this wonderful weekend, and to give you the confidence that we appreciate that this will be an adjustment for you during and want you to know that we have your perspective top of mind as we plan the event.
We curate this small, independent boutique music and art festival purposefully to bring the Sea to Sky community together to experience multiple musical genres and showcase both emerging and internationally renowned artists from BC, Canada and beyond – right here in Squamish.
We are very proud of our diverse and talented lineup (visit ConstellationFest.ca for all the details) and the loving and inclusive atmosphere we work very hard to deliver. Equally important to us is the safety and enjoyment of the people of our community. This includes creating a positive and safe onsite camping experience, managing traffic in the area around the venue, and doing what we can to minimize the impact on the neighbourhood.
As the neighbours adjacent to the festival grounds, we want this weekend to be as enjoyable and stress free as possible for you, your family and the friends who may be visiting. In light of this, please consider this letter and the webpage linked below as a tool to help you plan your weekend, and be able to relax knowing we’ve got your back!

Load In/Load Out Hours of Operation

Squamish Constellation Fest will be loading in production elements (stages, fencing, etc.) and building the venue starting July 18. Festival tear down will commence immediately following the festival, July 25-27. There will be some added traffic along Loggers Lane during the week prior to and a few days after the festival, however, we don’t anticipate significant impacts to the neighbourhood. The Loggers Lane and Finch Drive pedestrian area road closures and the “soft” TCP managed road closures on Robin, Finch and Bluebird Way will start at 8am, Friday July 22 and run until 2am July 25.

Festival Parking

Parking for the festival is predominantly at the Brennan Park Recreation Centre complex and will be accessed only from the north end of Centennial Way and then guided to intersections 4, 5 and 7 for parking and camping, or at intersection 2 for festival drop off near the arena.

Bikes, Pedestrians and Buses

The majority of festival goers will be locals so we anticipate a significant number of people getting to the festival by bike or on foot. The bike valet is located directly north of the festival main gate in the Logger Sports parking area. Constellation Fest will also be providing shuttle buses from Vancouver and Whistler. And to further encourage alternative forms of transportation, SCF will be providing a local shuttle bus from Squamish’s various neighbourhoods to the festival and back free of charge. The bus depot is located in front of the arena. All buses will access and egress the area from Centennial Way to the north.

Camping

Squamish Constellation Festival is providing limited festival camping onsite at the Municipal Campground and on the BMX parking lot area for tent and vehicle camping respectively. The campground is managed by experienced campground providers and designed to provide a welcoming, safe and considerate environment. Quiet time is midnight until 8 am and will be strictly enforced. All campers will be off site by 10 am, Monday July 25. Festival Staff, security and volunteers will be camping on the Squamish Valley Equestrian Association Lands west of Logger Sports. Security staff are also on site at the campgrounds. To learn more about the festival camping click here
