Mauvey

Born in Ghana, Mauvey grew up in the UK and Vancouver, and his raison d’être is to create and generate love, both on and off stage. He says, “My mission is to distribute love, and there’s no better way to do that than through music.” Filtering his energized, articulate, and emotional alternative pop through the filters of hip hop, R&B, and soul, he touches on influences as diverse as Michael Jackson, Oumou Sangaré, Prince, Childish Gambino, and Labrinth. Mauvey’s mixtape The Florist dropped in December 2021 to tremendous praise from worldwide press, radio, and fans. Watch for a full-length album coming in late 2022!
